Flex, a friend of mine, has made a POTS (plain old telephone service)
offering that allows ppl to dial in to a BBS gateway and connect to around
fifty or more systems via redirects once connected.  The user of the BBS
session can choose which BBS system to connect to once connected to the
2600.network service.  The full address is https://2600.network/

If you're looking to have private conversations with people using dial-up
POTS you may very well have a more secure communications experience than the
normal folks on the net.  This technology has been out-moded, and though
still immensely a lot of fun, has fallen off the radar of most intelligence community folks.
