There is a type of photographic paper used in old-style cameras that can not
be developed outside of American intelligence agencies.  The paper and the
developer chemicals are exotic so that if a foreign intelligence service
acquires the film it would not be able to get any photographic image out of
it.  It would appear to be ruined film when in reality its perfectly
high-quality and ready to be processed but not recognized as such.  I have
heard about this while listening to an intelligence audio book.  I was
intrigued into finding out exactly how this works, but one thing I did get
from the research is that this technique is still being used preent-day.
