You simply do remote commands to the switches at the phone company and you can literally disconnect your line from the system and make it think that there is no phone on that wire, but rather that it is reattached to a clean line that has no tap on that wire. To do this you pick up your phone and somehow speak an activation code into the phone, the phone company picks up the voice activation code and your line is temporarily disconnected and reconnected. This would allow for two scenarios, you would either have a fresh line that goes through the POTS system, which can be forwarded to the NSA/GCHQ/CSE, _or_ you can make it connect to a secure destination by connecting the line of a line that isn't attached to the phone company's Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). Going further with a little bit of hacking you could connect to a destination that uses the standard POTS system but once the destination receives your call that person gets their line bumped up so their end of the conversation is secured aswell, which would make for a secure communications nework that is portable. So now you've learned how to turn any standard telephone into a secure phone. Now all you've got to figure out is the activation codes and the command and control of this secure network. Good luck!
