If either of you had the Facebook app installed that either of you had logged into, it harvested your location data and texts. With that much data on individuals, it's fairly easy for them to just extrapolate that you were either near each other, exchanged phone numbers and therefore knew each other, etc. I would say the FB app is probably the single most intrusive thing you can willingly install on your phone, probably about equal to any Google App -- that being quite a bit more difficult if you're on an Android device. But at least go online to that google account and disable/clear as much tracking data as you can... even if it's just for peace of mind, I mean... they already have it all anyway ;) --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A39 2018/04/21 (Linux/64) * Origin: The Bottomless Abyss BBS * bbs.bottomlessabyss.net (700:100/33) .
