What's going on with the Coca-Cola company?

I thought it was my local grocery store only, but anywhere I go now,
they have:

Coca-Cola
Orange Cream Coke
Cherry Coke No Sugar
Caffeine Free diet coke
Vanilla Coke

But, no Diet Coke. There's tons of all of the flavors and they're sold
out of plain ol' diet coke.

Looking on their web site, I noticed this:

"if you want to snag some Diet Coke, just check out our buy now page. you
can also find it in the wild at your local grocers and select locations
(*subject to availability*)."

Are they trying to wean people off of DIET COKE and onto the less
delicious ZERO SUGAR diet coke?

Let's talk about how the lowest price I can find for a 12-pack of any
coke product is $10.99. Almost double pre-COVID prices.
