It's definitely happening and been happening for a while, there is a systematic "sweep" of the city, pushing drugs and crime to a specific area where it is ignored, it kills the price of all nearby properties, venture firms pick it up at 10% of its value, the police come in and strictly enforce crime in the area as it is redeveloped, focused on high-value tech worker areas and they resell/rent out and 10x its value, well documented by Channel 5 in their video "Philly Streets" https://youtu.be/925wmb-4Yr4?t=2306

I didn't know about Balaji Srinivasan, there are a lot of tech CEO's, especially from the paypal mafia, that are shaping our politics with their piles of meme and cryptocash. It runs deep, Hawk Tuah may even be involved lol
