The commercial goes along the lines of a couple walking towards the street to cross when a car just misses them and the viewer is instructed that insurance is very important. That in itself isn't so bad, except there is one thing that is unacceptable: there is a subliminal message given to the listener just before the couple enter on to the dangerous road. It goes "... need to get insurance." and is said in a certain way so that it is undetectable by people who don't have very good hearing. I point this out to my friends whenever this specific commercial comes on and they just don't hear it. It's like some people can hear it while others can not. In some nations subliminal messaging in commercial advertisements have been made illegal. Subliminal messaging isn't confined to audio only, but there are visual instances of subliminal as well with graphics that if you look quite close you will see images of the human reproductive system in the background or even in the foreground in ways that are not immediately evident to be in place.
