Subj : How Vices Can Compromise Your People

The KGB is the most widely known intelligence agency for their use of entrapment for sexual reasons.  They have used homosexual men and women to ensnare opposing forces where if they don't work with/for the KGB then their vices are exposed to the world.  Lesser known is their use of pornography of minors, given to people that they want to burn.  Having people caught up in the world of youth porn will be one more person that can be controlled and used for the progress of the agency.  The KGB was known as The Center, being the center of Soviet intelligence throughout the world.  There are various other things that can compromise a person, without it even being made evident that a person is being compromised.  An example of this is the distribution of warez.  People who love being in the "inside" of warez distribution groups and want to keep the files flowing could be targeted to lure in people into a agreement where "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine..."  Giving a person a rewarding social experience that happens to be illegal, which will compromise a person in one regard leaving the possibility open to be compromised in another regard. The compromisation doesn't need to be a really bad one, just something that they can ensnare you with that will get the job done for The Center or other malevolent groups.

So how do we avoid this?  Find ways to entertain yourself that aren't illegal.  Its rather simple, this will keep you safe.  If you want to do drugs do legal ones, if you look at pornography (though highly highly discouraged) look at legal magazines, if you want to have a collection of warez then only have abandonwarez that are actually really abandoned and not revived into the form of 30-in-1 game systems with preloaded games into game controllers.  There are plenty of vices that are legal and will get you into less trouble.  All vices should be avoided completely, but if you chose not to take that advice then at least do vices that won't get you into legal trouble.

From a Christian perspective, having vices should be fully completely avoided, as the way to salvation from sin is a narrow path and few find it.  Be Holy as Jesus Christ is Holy.  This is what all Christians are called to.  

What you put into your mind is how you will think.  If you watch a lot of true crime shows, or pornography, or verbally offensive shows your inner self will repeat the words and pictures that you have allowed into your ears and eyes.  You are what you ingest; what you put into your mind is what will come out of you mind.  So, be sure to only participate in things that are beneficial in the long term and don't "just look once or twice," but rather keeping what you take in being Holy as God would direct you in being Holy.
