Subj : Intelligence Officers Above The Law? To : All From : warmfuzzy Date : Fri Apr 14 2023 21:50:33 Governments bestow on intelligence officers a wide breadth of things that they allow the IO's to do but no one else in the society is allowed to do. The first thing that comes to mind is informants using the drugs that they are trying to stop from being trafficked. To be able to insinuate people into criminal organizations they sometimes need to get into those very things that they hate. IO's and informants have a type of immunity where they can experience the life of the malevolents and not fear getting busted. If you surround yourself with bad people it will rub off on you. You will be changed into the very thing you hate. My recommendation is to completely stay away from these bad actors and find some less dangerous way of stopping trafficking. In Canada the act that spells out what informants can and can not do is itself secret. So we know that there are things that are wrong and dangerous but can be done, but with the various acts in place what exactly they can do is unknown. Being James Bond will get you killed. Being an informant will get you killed. Being less than Holy will get you cast out of Heaven. So act as if you will be judged for every idle word you speak, as you will literally have to answer for every idle word that comes out of your mouth on the day of judgment. Just because you can exercise your intelligence granted allowances doesn't mean that you should. Be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves.. be Holy even as [Jesus Christ] is Holy... Some of my thoughts, not hating on anybody, but putting the word out there that some of the dark parts of the intel machine should be left completely alone with no touching those things that will in the end kill you. I'm not saying that anyone should be killed, just speaking from a practical perspective that you are treading on dangerous ground when you enter the scene as a member of a community that has a foreign policy of murder. I might emphasize, do not join the IC (intelligence community) in a role where you wouldn't want your mom to know. If everything you are doing in the IC scene is something that you wouldn't be embarrassed about if it were brought out in the light then that seems alright for the most part. When it comes to lying, be sure to avoid that are far as is possible, as Satan is the father of lies, and if you lie you are doing the opposite of what God would want you to do. This is a tricky and touchy subject, how to perform IC work without telling lies. I acknowledge that such a feat would not be easy, however it can probably be done. Perhaps your role could be in logistics or data analysis rather than a field agent. Some things to consider, and no one is making you (hopefully) be an active member of the intelligence community. This is not the be-all and end-all of careers, you probably have many options. I am a layman and know what i know from many books. Props to Audible.com for serving up fresh tomes on Security-Intelligence. You can get a college level education from reading a lot of books. Remember boys and girls, if your mom would be upset at your actions then don't do them...
