Most sp00k'ing takes place between and among different language groups, so
the "five eyes" are the USA/UK/CAN/AUS/NZL.  This could be conidered one
"bloc" and they go against different language groups: RUSSIAN, CHINESE,
ARABIC, FRENCH, HINDI, FARSI... you get the idea.  Basically, this means that
people of the same tongue tend to gather together among their fellow
same-language speakers.  Anyhow, if you want to do well in the IC
(intelligence community) you should know the following languages, not all of
them necessarily, but several of them:

RUSSIAN   ARABIC   HEBREW   FARSI   CHINESE   ENGLISH   FRENCH   SPANISH
GERMAN   HINDI

As a child, when President Putin went to the state security building asking
how he could get a job there he got the response telling him to learn as many
languages as he could.  He would later become the head of the FSB/SVR
(Russian Domestic/Foreign Intelligence) and would after that become the
president of a very powerful country, the Russian Federation.

Maybe you don't aspire to be a president or head of the security services,
but there is no doubt that knowing multiple languages will help you greatly in
finding and keeping employed.
