Its all over the news right now, first China sent their ridiculous "spy balloon" now they're breaking into major sectors of the American government resources.  These items being hacked are command and control operations equipment that deals with water sanitization, energy generation, and various things that in event of war would be strategically beneficial to the communist side.  BBS has reported that MI5 (SIS) suspects 20,000 people per year in the UK are groomed to produce sensitive materials to the Chinese government.  They are becoming more forceful in their efforts and focusing these efforts on the Five Eyes (USA, UK, CAN, AUS, NZL).  These people are very bad actors as they are getting ready for war and they want to win that war.  These actions are the kind of thing that leads to nations rising against nations.

China and Putin are both Communists so they have a bond that keeps them together through thick or thin.  Due to the massive embargo on Russian companies and the Russian state, it is quite nice to have such a powerful ally.

The geo-political landscape is serious TARFUN right now (Things Are Really Fouled Up Now).  Like the secret society that caused World War I, there may be some secret society that gets ahold of a nuclear weapon and leads the way to global conflagration.  With all of our treaties of mutual assistance when one country messes with anohter they may find that have the world is against them and even htat half the world is on the other side.

This seems a bit far out, but in the past few years agression is building against the Western Nations and the Communist Nations and the Fundamentalist Islamic Nations.

A wise military strategist once said that it is most desireable to have your two enemies fight against each other, then they will be doing the destruction upon them that you wanted to do, but now don't have to as they are locked in war, and the instigator just sits back and watches the storm of war, while resting in peace in the instigator's homeland.  War by Proxy.
