We are rapidly returning to a world in which accepting "a while galaxy of
wrong assumptions in order to shoehorn an improbable" proposition into
reality is the norm. Those who use reason and the scientific method are
slandered as trying to hold back progress while the medievally credulous are
seen as revealing some sort of "un-PC" truth that "they don't want you to
know." Only reason can reveal what lies beneath. Logical fallacy and ancient
superstition are not shortcuts to Truth.
