Yeah I'm a glutton for punishment because since that particular message things have changed quite a bit. :) Still running pure MSDOS with QEMM/DV but I've switched to using QuickBBS 2.90 (had to reverse-engineer it to generate regkeys). I tried using JMAIL and cracked/wrote a keygen for it but it has problems with dates so I switched to FMAIL. I did update the source to binkd to build with DJGPP/WATT32 so now I have binkd 1.1 running in DOS instead of 0.9.8. Quickbbs has an absolutely shitty mail interface so I set about writing a new one, in the process I've been porting the OpenDoor SDK to DJGPP as well. Just finished up the FOSSIL routines and now I can write a library for GoldBase message format (Quickbbs) and "then" I can write a nice mail interface like Mystic has. All of this just because I want to simulate how I ran things back in the day. I have learned a lot though, and honestly it's been fun learning all this stuff.
