Subj : Floppy Emulator To : All From : NuSkooler Date : Sat Jan 06 2018 18:57:10 Anyone have/use one of these Gotek floppy emulators? I just picked one up on the cheap (20$ USD) and plan on installing it in this AMD k2 system I just got. The way they work is pretty basic: Creates 100 FAT12 (or whatever you like) partitions on a USB stick. You can then select them and treat them just like a floppy. Floppies are then just images you copy onto the USB stick from another system. Also have a Realtek PCI card that should be 100% compatible with some DOS packet drivers I have on the way from China. They are apparently still makign them... cost $4.00 *shipped*, so I got a couple just in case :D --- ENiGMA 1/2 v0.0.8-alpha (linux; x64; 6.11.3) * Origin: Xibalba -+- xibalba.l33t.codes:44510 (80:774/20) .
