I believe this should work, but I'm sure retro PC is so much dominated by emulation, nobody cared to check on a real vintage computers. some less vintage should boot from CD or USB easily and I'm sure there are plenty of ways how to kick-off DOS from such media instead of floppy emulator. -h1 ....
