I'm a big fan of DOS based networking and connect to most BBS's from my XT, which uses mTCP, naturally ;). If you don't know about mTCP, definitely check that out. I have made a bunch of how-to videos on YT to help get set up. The all-rounder video shows how toget started if you don't have the software on your machine (so covering things like sneakernet, laplink cables etc). Check out the video here: if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0qGq3SpDt0 my channel on many more Retro (mainly DOS) computery things here: https://www.youtube.com/alsgeeklab I'd personally love to see SyncTERM for MS-DOS that works ontop of mTCP, but I reckon that would be a fair amount of work. A good compromise would be ZModem support in mTelnet. Adding TOPAZ support again would be a big ask there. Not impossible, but for the amount of users on DOS systems that would call Amiga boards, you'd need a lot of them to warrant such a feature add IMO! Have a super day!
