That software looks pretty intense.  Nice job on your java hack.
I noticed pimlical uses port 8000.  Were you able to install iptables inside
your chroot, and configure iptables to open up port 8000?
It might look something like this.......
#/sbin/iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 8000 -j ACCEPT
just remove the # at the begining and you could change tcp to udp to see if
that helps.  you would do best sticking the iptables line above in
/etc/rc.local so that it gets loaded everytime you start the chroot.

For testing purposes only you could *TRY* this
#/sbin/iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT
I dont know that it works but if it does its just supposed to accept
everything and anything.

Bahahah Yeah.  I know the type.  Offer stands though..  You find me in there
and I'll try to help you trouble shoot if I can.

were you able to backup your chroot yet?  that is the most important thing
really.  they corrupt pretty quickly.  I back mine up once a month or more
but then again I do more with mine then most people do.

I hope the above helps in some way.. would be super cool if you could get
that calendar syncing working.  Good Luck!
