Thanks Make that lower case name & password. The ftp is basically the Linux one with PASV turned off by default. It will take special handling to get ftp clients (like Filezilla) to work. I did get in and can get to files just as on my BBS (for the last few years): ftp necrobbs.strangled.net Connected to necrobbs.strangled.net. 220 Mystic FTP server ready Name (necrobbs.strangled.net:pi): bcw142 331 User name okay, need password. Password: 230 User logged in, proceed. Remote system type is UNIX. Using binary mode to transfer files. ftp> ls 200 Command okay. 150 File status okay; opening data connection. -rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 0 Sep 18 13:35 NECRONOM.qwk drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Jan 22 22:37 Uploads drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Dec 14 2016 BLOCKTRONICS drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Dec 20 2016 breakascii drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Dec 08 2016 IMPUREASCII drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Sep 01 2016 DIFFZIP drwxr-xr-x 1 ftp ftp 0 Sep 06 2016 BACKBONE ftp> That was from my BBS on the Pi connecting via ftp (sudo apt-get install ftp). Remember Linux is case sensitive so 'cd Uploads' as cd uploads won't work.
