It does emulate a serial to ethernet with basic AT commands.  I also had a
thought to run my old BBS software on it, but in it's current state it will
not work.  I have tried multiple BBS software packages like VisionX, Emulex,
LSD, Celerity and Renegade and all have an issue with detecting the carrier.

I have put in a request to get the emulation more to what it needs to be in
order to bring a BBS up.
