I think that we lost the "surprise factor" we are not surprised anymore with
the graphics and the sounds and the mechanics... in the 80-90 the graphics
and sound made huge leaps in between games. Remember the feeling of seeing
Doom I in action for the first time!?

Or jewels like Little Computer People or any Accolade Games or Cinemaware
Games in the C64?

Now a days, there are a lot of great games out there, but... sadly, we lost
the capacity of surprise... guess the same happens with the CGI graphics in
the movies... :(
