Subj : HDMI TV Console Recommendation To : All From : Jagossel Date : Sat Apr 27 2019 10:55:57 Lately, my 5-year-old son has been taking an interest in playing some video games, and started to enjoy some games. He's more interested in platformer games. He seems to like the classics like Sonic and Mario. We have an Amazon FireTV stick, and there are a few games we can play with the Amazon remote, but the one that be my son and I are interested in playing require an Amazon game controller, and it doesn't look like they'll be making more anytime soon. :( I thought about getting an Ouya, but it seems like they are no longer in production. It looks like I can buy one from Amazon for about US$100 or US$150, but I'm not sure if they will have Sonic or Mario. I have heard of a TV stick with Android on them, and I hope it will have Google Play on it. I suppose I would need to get a wireless controller for it, though. What are your thoughts and recomnendations? Something that I can easily to download (or purchase a license at most) games to it, but works with actual hardware controller (the virtual controls on a touch screen are driving me up the wall!) I would like to prefer an Android with Google Play access so that I can get Magic DOSBox on it to play some DOS games, and to play some of the more retro games that had been ported to Android. -jag Code it, Script it, Automate it! --- SBBSecho 3.06-Linux * Origin: Disconnected Reality -- discreal.ddns.net (80:774/93) .
