The amount of testing and development is far bigger for the OSS > emulators. I'm certainly not saying the open source emulators are bad. They're really amazing, especially considering they're entirely reverse engineered. But there are some places where they're not quite accurate or there are still little problems, and Nintendo's own emulators don't have as many issues since they didn't have to reverse engineer anything. > al> I still kind of want one for my family since it comes with most of our > al> favorite games and is way more approachable to them than a retropi. > al> But I've not ruled out putting together a retropi for them either. > > Other emulators with changeable ROMs also have all your favorites ;) True, but the rest of my family aren't computer geeks. :) So the easier the better for them! I still may build a retropi at some point, though. -- alliekbean --- SBBSecho 3.00-Linux * Origin: moonboot labs :: bbs.moonbootlabs.net (80:774/32) .
