There is one difference between emulators and the original. The nostalgia
factor, what what nostalgia does for someone. You do get some of it with the
emulators, and they are really nice, specifically the keyboard differences over
30+ years, but ... its really something to have a nice working retro unit. The
marvel of something continuing service for over 30 years. They just don't build
equipment today like they did in the past.
