Can't seem to get it to open up so I can save on it.. Driving me Bu> nuts! Installed everything correctly, going to try an 8 meg unit now Bu> and see what that does.. Hopefully, it will work.. Cause 16 megs Bu> ain't! LOl ??? Ram Drive??? Do you mean the REU (RAM Expansion Unit) The Ultimate64 or 1541 Ultimate can emulate a REU. It supports all the software that supports REUs. (GEOS, ...) You can also use it to play back Nuvie videos. Keep in mind that the biggest REU Commodore made was 512KB. The chipset used could theoretically do 2MB. (There were aftermarket REUs that expanded the memory to 2 MB) The mechanism used can cope with 16 MB. I am not entirely clear what you wanted to say ... You definitely need software that supports the REU. If you use bigger REUs you need to patch the software to support them. GEOS for example can only copy with 512KB. There is a patch to expand that to 2 MB REU sizes. CU, Ricsi .... Are there any side effects to these pills apart from bankruptcy? --- GoldED+/LNX * Origin: For every action, there is a criticism.
