LOL Actually from about 1989 till I took the boards down in 96 I was running
a Lt Kernal, but yes I do miss that sound. Waking up in the middle of the
night when I would hear the 1541 head banging because either the cat hit the
lever on the drive and the heads couldn't read the disk OR the disk went
bad.. When I was running SFD-1001 disks I would always know when someone was
logging on I would hear them fire up. So yea, I kinda do miss it, but I can
and have run more boards in emulation now then I ever could have back then!
LOL I had at one point all 3 Image versions running on 1 computer in
Emulation... LOL
