Subj : Re: TI99 Emulation w/BBS Client Serial Support To : Gandalf From : Beery Date : Wed Mar 11 2020 21:36:20 Gandalf, Let me correct myself. I'm not sure I have tried connecting the WiModem232 to MAME, but I did connect tha Lantronix network interface that behaves like a modem. The connection settings I gave in the earlier email are the settings I used. I'm not sure if the WiModem and WiModem232 behave the same, but there is a default baud rate you need to connect initially with the WiModem232. Then, you can send a command line to the WiModem232 to set it to a specific baud rate. With a TI-99/4A, I am guessing the emulation may limit you to 2400 baud, maybe 4800 baud. With the Geneve, I am able to configure the WiModem232 to 19200 baud with a program I have been using. Most terminal emulator programs should be good at 2400 baud. Anything above 2400 depends upon how well the terminal emulator program is written. Hopefully that will help.
