Yes, I have tried with the WiModem232, but I did with a serial port on a
Windows computer running Mame64.  I run MAME from the command line making sure 
I have a -serl1 socket.locahost:10000 line in the batch file I launch MAME from

Prior to this, you must launch from another command line the following line:

java -jar tiimagetool.jar BRIDGE COM1 10000

After you launch the java applet, then you can launch MAME.
