Subj : TI99 Emulation w/BBS Client Serial Support

So recently I have been trying to get TI99 emulators to work with my WiModem
232 to connect to BBS's.  I was going to be out of town and did not want to
lug real iron with me.  I tried using CaDD PC99w and MAME TI99.  I was
unsuccessful on both.  I got close but could not get communication working
with the WiModem232.  Has anyone successfully got the emulator serial
connectivity to work with BBS's?  If so, would you be willing to work with
me, so that I could learn how to do the same?  Thank you in advance!
