Just not sure what kind of B> file access a BBS uses. Frankly I would just connect the TI to a serial port and connect to a Linux (or BSD) box. Several ways to mediate serial to TCP/IP, emulate dial-ins, etc. from there. I've done this with a real vintage Unix box (TI S1500 w/o ethernet) and currently for a couple of emulated 4.3BSD Vax 750 systems. Haven't tried yet with a MAME emulated 4A or Geneve but it's in the works. Nor Pitts' 990 simulator. Seems to me for the TIPI to provide file access there may be some TCP/IP networking in the backend on the Pi, if it's doing ISCSI, NFS, Samba, or similar to reach any external storage. Again, I'm going to look into it.
