Now, the TIPI itself talks to python scripts on the PI, however the TIPI itself is running 9900 assembly out of the DSR space. Now, if you are wanting to use the TIPI on a TI for a BBS, I am not sure that specific potential is there unless you want to use the TIPI for file storage rather than telnet capability. Outbound Telnet is fine, the issue I understand deals with the inbound connection. If you want to run a BBS, get a WiModem232 and a TIPI for file access. At the moment though, I do not know what existing BBS software would do on file uploads and downloads. I know with MXT as a terminal emulator, all was well. Just not sure what kind of file access a BBS uses.
