levision is a 1942 Philco... and I tried to only put on
videos/shows that were period correct. I have *all* I Love Lucy & All
in the Family.. but then I also have a bunch of 'future home' stuff,
and AT&T Archives stuff. (They are tech-minded, from the 50s mind
you..) I even added a bunch of old commercials and am coding in that
a commercial plays every 3rd video or so. :P 

But yes, all the videos are period correct - and I love how current
technology has made that antique television come back to life. :P

Trust me, I'm a better googler than a python coder - but I guess I have
to learn somehow. It's nice how theres so much info out there, I learn
better with the answer in front of me... I suppose 2020 lends itself
well to this kind of learning.

I know several people who run PLEX servers on their Raspberry Pi's.
It's one of the most popular projects to do with them, so there IS tons
of info online about doing just that.... even the:

Even the this part of it. When I download say the whole series of I
Love Lucy, in the filename its usually like S01E01 or S01E15... In fact
it would be easier to have them play in chronological order... with a
PLEX server, heck you even see a list and its in a GUI and all that.
You can run PLEX, or even add Kodi on top of it - point is, you can
make it look however you want. You can basically setup a local Netflix
- as far as looks go, anyway... dig into that project and I'm sure
you'll find options that work with what you ultimately want to do.
