Sorry to hear about a BBS closing down.  If you still enjoy running a BBS,
could you just keep it running?  Other than doing software updates etc., a BBS
doesn't require a whole lot of maintenance, other than checking in occasionally
and ensuring it hasn't crashed, etc.
