The previous RC10 set up an IP-only network, and I followed along with it. 
If you don't have a POTS line, I put them into net 218.

If you want to manage your own net segment and be your own NC, that's fine, 
too. I have a small network doing just that.

The legacy networks I keep around are ones like Rob Swindell's node that 
have had the same node number and advertised it in documentation.
