SD> When I can travel, I'd like to hit up a few hamfests in Delta Division. There aren't many in Arkansas anymore. Normally, these were the hamfests: 1) Hoxie (Walnut Ridge) - third or fourth Saturday in February. That was postponed in 2021, but I still haven't seen whether they'll hold one this year, or wait until 2022. 2) Russellville - first Saturday in March. Canceled in 2021 - hoping to do one in 2022. The 2020 hamfest was held right before the COVID-19 lockdowns were implemented. 3) Fort Smith - first Saturday in April. Canceled in 2020 and 2021 - no word if they will try to do one in 2022. 4) Mena - the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. Right now, on for 2021. 5) Little Rock - third Saturday in September. Ended in 2016, because of bickering between the clubs, and that no one wanted to be workers. I had done hamfest talk-in in the past, and had headed up VE Testing the last several years of it. I seriously doubt Little Rock will ever hold another hamfest. I understand that Shreveport, Louisiana had their hamfest earlier this month, but with health (now a cardiac patient) and financial issues, I couldn't make the trip. I'm really leery of traveling outside of central Arkansas anymore. Daryl, WX4QZ ....
