Amazon is going to refund me the full purchase price plus tax so
thankfully I am not out the $.  I think for now, I'll put the refund
into savings and repurpose an older but seemingly reliable SanDisk 500GB
SSD I have in my HP EliteDesk 840 G1 laptop and slip in one of the two
spare HP 120GB SSDs I have into the laptop.

I think, when I can, I'll build myself another desktop and give this one
to my mom.  She doesn't have quite the demands I have for a PC and this
one should last her a long, long time.
