I am needing something that does not use a dedicated client.  In this
case, I'm wanting to use SMB to backup to the media server with.  I do
use FTP and NFS with other systems if need be.  My backups are encrypted
using GPG so not too worried about peeking (and besides, who'd want a
BBS archive anyway but me?).

I have a few places around the world to stash files, thankfully, but I'm
trying to have my own BC plan with hot, warm, and cold backups.
