Subj : Chromebook To : All From : Sean Dennis Date : Thu Apr 26 2018 18:24:09 Hello All, I'm in my shack trying out the Chromebook. It's very well-built, the keyboard is great, and it's a breeze to use. The display is very crisp. Quite happy for my investment in it. I did install the Google-developed SSH app for Chrome (under Chrome OS, it installs itself as a standalone app and not in the Chrome browser itself though the app uses the browser) for BBS access. I'm using that SSH app now using GoldEd+. The only thing is that this app can only use UTF-8, so ANSI graphics look weird. I did purchase vSSH, an Android app, which can emulate ANSI. I'll probably install it on here. One thing's for sure: any long-term use is going to require my reading glasses. :D Later, Sean ....
