I like to use Chrome Remote Desktop intra-LAN with my various computers that
can run Chrome.  I also have Teamviewer for WAN needs (and to fix my
parents' computer from remote at home because I'm lazy and my broken foot
hurts a lot).

For OS/2, I use VNC.  Unfortunately, there's no other product that works
right now but once Qt5 is ported over, maybe we can get something else
working.
