  When my computer stops working I will just shut it off.  It's mainly a
  media server and I can use linux for that.  The laptop was upgraded to
  windows 10 without me agreeing to it at some point, but I have a
  version of windows 7 that will install and run what I need it too.
  Hell to be honest I could run OS/2 or Linux on the laptop too, I don't
  really use computers like I used to.  I use dosbox for offline mail,
  syncterm for getting the mail, and a web browser / word processor for
  school.  That's really it.
