My drives are running off of connections straight to the motherboard. I use the front panel connections for the thumbdrives; I was just testing their speed and it's the same regardless of whether I use the hub or the motherboard. I don't have enough external drives to need a NAS (ie, only 1 3.5" and 1 2.5"). I've got enough space internally for 2 more 3.5" and 2 more 2.5" drives any way. I just went external for the ones I use out of convenience. -- Shurato, Sysop Shurato's Heavenly Sphere (ssh, telnet, pop3, ftp, nntp, ,wss) (Ports 22,23,110,21,119,8080) (ssh login 'bbs' pass 'shsbbs'). --- * Origin: Shurato's Heavenly Sphere telnet://shsbbs.net (618:300/50) .
