Subj : USB Version of a specific port?

Is there any way to tell what USB version a port is using?  I've got a front
panel port that is USB-C and supposedly 3.2, but I never get more than 1Mbps
out of it...  I'd love to know the real version by querying a device or
something.  I don't know how I'd specify the exact port otherwise.
