Subj : OS/2 Plans To : All From : Kevin Nunn Date : Fri Dec 13 2019 13:28:51 I was cleaning my office closet the other day and amidst all my backup/old hard drives, I found an 80gb SSD that I had discarded because it was too small for a modern windows machine. And it dawned on me that it would be perfect for OS/2. I have a backup computer that is the exact same setup as my OS/2 BBS machine, so I am going to install the SSD in that (and keep the existing HD in it, probably 500gb), and attempt to install Arch OS on it. If I can get that working, and it seems to be stable, then I will copy all the bbs stuff over to it and switch the BBS to the "new" machine and use that. And I might try to find some cheap smaller SSD drives for similar future use. Kev --- Telegard/2/QWK v3.09.g2-sp4/mL * Origin: Razor's Domain/2 BBS (618:200/1) .
