Then mycrypt is not configured to use a subfolder of your webhost account.

Is you do try to place files un a subfolder via the crypt subsystem "rclone
copy horse.jpg mycrypt:/horses/pictures/" then your crypt subtree will be
uploaded to the root of your webhost in obscured form, and that is expected
behavior.
