True!  The one thing that makes it different, I guess, is that it is a tropical
 vacation destination so at least there are many "non-residents" in and out vs.
the other shows.
 
IIRC, it was a French-British colab.  I preferred the original "inspector,"
played by the same actor who now plays British Professor T.  The PBS network
here only showed the seasons up to the first one with his character replaced,
so we've not see the other variants.
