I didn't realize there was an American version of that one.  I guess it was
centered around one of the tunnels that links Canada with Detroit?  :D

I have seen that one on PBS here.  Probably about time for a new season of
it.  IIRC, in the British/Scottish version, the Annika character is
actually half-Norweigan.  I like that one, and the character does break the
fourth wall a lot.

We have BBC America but it has very much moved away from being a place to
watch British television.  Until the Disney deal, they used to carry Dr.
Who.  I have not checked in a while but, back then, Dr. Who was about the
only British show that was aired on that network.  :(
