Waiting for God (BBC, 1990-1994)

Setting: Bayview Retirement Home.

Premise: Two spirited elderly residents - Tom (Graham Crowden)
and Diana (Stephanie Cole) - rebel against the patronizing
management and refuse to "grow old gracefully."

Tone: Sharp, witty, and a bit dark; a satire on aging and bureaucracy.

Why it fits: Entirely set in a seniors' residence, with lots of
ensemble interaction among the elderly residents and staff.
