My A1C was 6.4 last December, but 5.8 this past April. I'm to get it checked again when I go in for my wellness check/yearly physical on Oct. 29. I've been testing my glucose once a day, and values have ranged between 80 and 134. The latter reading was just the other day, when I had splurged with DoorDash to order 2 sausage and cheese pizzas and crazy bread from Little Caesar's. I felt the tagline below was appropriate. The sugar was back down to 97 the next day, and 108 this morning. I was told by my PCP to NOT buy one of the EXPENSIVE A1C deals (I looked on Amazon), but instead, to just have it checked when I come in. Now, if I get certified as type 2 diabetic, that's a major game changer in so many ways. My late wife, Janice (you met her and me years ago) was type 1. Daryl, N5VLZ .... When told to cut carbohydrates, I sliced a pizza. === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.29-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (618:250/33) .
