Ok this is great info. I think the cisco SPA112 is very similar to the cisco SPA122. I saw on some video on youtube a couple years ago someone using the SPA112 with their modems and it seemed to work. I got my SPA122 from a computer recycler and it was configured as a FAX modem and I think it was for SEATAC airport. However I had to hack it to get the admin login back to stock, and so I could reset the ATA. This because of the fax modem setup this tells me a modem had to have answered the line. One thing I'm not sure of about the ATA .. having 2 lines active are they able to actually talk to each other? I only have 1 phone handset so I can't test that part. But your configuration gives me hope. Asterisk is a system that takes awhile to figure out. I will take a look at the link and see if I can find the info. Thanks for the information Warpslide. :) ....
