Hi everyone,

Looks like my diabetic retinopathy has progressed to a severe enough level
that I'll be getting shots in both eyes.  The shots are of a special protein
("anti-VGEF") that can stop and even possibly reverse damage.  My mom is
getting similar shots as well for wet macular dengeration.  After three
months, the vision in her left eye has improved rapidly.

For right now, this shouldn't affect my vision much except on treatment days.

I'm hoping I don't start losing vision.  I don't think I will as this
treatment has a 90-95% effeciency (sp) rate.

It's always something.
