I was just thinking back to my early-30s, dual income, no kids. We'd eat
out many nights a week, and some of the restaurants didn't have CRAYONS!

Of course, rent was reasonable back then, I think we paid 1200 for a 2
br/2 bath house with a garage and washer/dryer.

A friend of ours made more money than both my wife and I combined, and I
don't think she ever cooked for herself. She'd have people over for
dinner parties, I think her kitchen went unused otherwise.
